I’ve been told that just 10 minutes a day will help me improve. But that never seems like enough.
As much as you can. If you set your goals too high (like 1 hr a day) you probably won’t reach them. Be realistic. 20-30 minutes a day, and then some days more, some less.
I agree with the other answers. 10 minutes will help, but to make real progress you need to spend more time.
10 minutes a day is not enough, but sure better than nothing. Probably longer, more intense sessions, maybe every other day would be better. At the beginning your fingers will get sore, but you’ll get over that if you keep at it.
The site with practice tracks, scales, exercises, etc. is http://practicetracks.org/A-Members/PrivateCollection/
I’ve been playing guitar for about 6 years. 10 minute practice sessions might be ok at first, but eventually you will need to have longer sessions if you want to learn more advanced fingering, chords, etc. The more you practice, the better you’ll get. There are lots of practice tracks for guitar players at this site.
